Fed loans, correct? Private companies could still invest in someone if they wanted.
Sure with the understanding they wouldn't be bailed out by the govt.

Well when millennials want to share jobs with women and minorities (non-Americans), this is what happens. You've narrowed your job capabilities and double the competition.
Blue collar workers make more than a large percentage of college educated millennials. Guess that liberal major wasn't worth it after all...
Eta: I'm not saying it's better to go to craft school than engineering/med school.

No. He has a good major. Biology. He had to go back to school to some kind of special program to get a bunch of other stuff too just to get a job. Like, 4 year biology degree wasnt enough just to earn $35K
I know a girl who works for the Fed gob as a biologist, 4 year degree and she makes 91k. Been there for 9 years.
Your job opportunities are limited however.

But do to job fairs and such put on my universities and you will see maybe 2-5% of the students there.
I wonder what % of unemployed people show up to a city job fair...

You make more money if you actually work. like do real work. HVAC technician, plumber, electrician, auto mechanic, hair dresser, etc.
One of these things is oddly out of place

Also, companies invested in their employees. Now a company demands you have years of experience for entry level jobs.
I think this is something people of all ages can agree is an issue.
When entry-level positions require x years of experience, there is an issue.

Two things.
1. Government job.
2. Is this girl/job local? I dont think he looked for employment outside of NOLA metro area.

Yes. Of course. Thats the way a free market is supposed to work. Everything the government touches turns to shite. They skew the market. We arent that far out from the '08 crash are we? Yet, we still repeat history.

I'd be all for stopping the loan program all together. If you can't pay for college or earn a scholarship then go to work
I'm not sure about that. Currently student loan debt is on average $26k...With 20 years to repay, I don't think you'll see massive failure rates to pop a bubble. Especially not while the government is involved.

Lol. If youre talking about hair dresser allow me to expound.
My wife is a hair dresser. She stands on her feet 13+ hour shifts. Gets no breaks. Barely schedules a lunch. Her elbows and upper arms are at a 90 degree angle to her torso for greater than 75% of that time. Her shoulders, lower back and feet are all fricked up. She has to see the chiropractor monthly.
Humans arent sloths or koalas. We are meant to stay on the move. We arent meant to stand or sit in one place all day or be in one position for extended periods of time. Although our minds are advanced our bodies are still that of hunter/gatherers. This is why people that sit at a desk all day have back and neck problems or why typists have carpal tunnel problems or why auto mechanics have lower back problems.
Im in construction and my body isnt nearly as fricked up as my wifes. I dont have knots in my back. In construction youre always in a different position throughout the day and making a different motions. People who make the same motions all day or put their bodies and extremities in the same position all day end up with problems in those areas of their bodies.

No not "everyday". She works 3 days a week...and she still has those problems. Thanks for affirming my point!

Do you even college bro? All majors are pretty general like that. Nobody goes to college for a Bachelor of Science in Micrometer Design.
