If you're injured, are you still part of the reserve? Also, what are the odds of being called to a military base if you're technically disabled and receiving disability?

Lots of vets have fleeced the military for disability ratings over the last decade.

Plenty of people in the reserves drawing disability from the military.

If you rate 50% because of sleep apnea and have a handicap decal I'm not sure how you look at yourself in the mirror every morning.

Technically a vet could have a 100% VA rating and still have a RE Code that could be called back if the military needed.

Once 8 years total service is complete they won't call back service members. So typically a 4x4 or 5x3 contract is signed. Reservist and guard typically sign 6x2 contracts. The first number is active years served and second is inactive time to be called.
