I had a copy of an old ECON 2030 final that I had on my desk a couple hours before the final in Cox. The professor walked in the auditorium from the back and me and the group I was sitting with didn't see him. We were the only group in there at the time. He picked up my papers from the desk next to me (I was one seat from the isle and the papers were on the isle desk) and started joking around reading off some questions saying what was and what wasn't on it. He was a really nice dude so I felt like shite when he realized that the questions he was reading were from an old final.

He asked me for my name and gave me the speech about how it was cheating and told me to see him after the test. The crazy thing is gave me the old final back and walked to the front of the final. We had gotten the old final from a friend of my friends who's mom used to be a TA for the class. He was sitting with us when it happened and I didn't want anybody else to get in trouble.

So I walked to the front of the classroom and tried to give the teacher the old final back and he looked at it and said "how do you know these answers are even right?" I told him I didn't know but I looked in the book and tried to answer them myself.

Once he realized the test wasn't stolen from his office he didn't give a frick and I got off free. I was scared as frick for about 5 minutes though.
