Memo to employees regarding layoffs

I saw the post about Tillman Fertitia's message to his employees regarding the shutdown of a few of his businesses because of the kung flu.
Have any of you received messages from your boss or sent messages to your employees pertaining to the same issue? I'm curious to see what others are telling their employees.

Service and travel industries will have massive layoffs and furlough salary based employees. Small businesses will go bankrupt in many cases.

yes, this is not going to be good for many people. It makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it.

But the other problem is that once everything is allowed to reopen, a lot of businesses aren't going to be as busy as they were before the shutdown. Lots of people are going to be penny pinching to replenish their savings and payoff debts accrued while they were out of work for a month or more with this. So it may be quite a while before consumer spending gets back to where it was before the kung flu
