My back hurts. I think it is cause my work stresses me out and doesn't provide me with proper seating. How much can I get from your testimony saying my chair is the cause of my pain and agony? I need about 350k.

The rule of thumb OP is take your average that you make or bill on that given day, and add your expenses. That's your number. If you really want to get into it, you subtract a little to entice people to pay you to do it. If its a pain in the arse for you, then you add a lot to it. Its honestly pretty basic accounting and as a doctor you should know that.

I'll tell you what, as a doctor you probably don't know how billing works very well. So I'd recommend planning on charging at least double what you think you cost.

Point is, it has to be worth your time.
