Dont view someone as only one thing, even if it is the most identifiable characteristic...in her case, black.
Yet, all the statues in question were taken down not because the people depicted were all bad, but the statue removers only viewed one identifier.

How much cheaper would it have been to simply change Lee Circle back to Tivoli Circle and let the statue languish in anonymity?
