Marco Rubio Expands Visa Crackdown Targeting Sinaloa Cartel Family Members, Associates

This reminded me of the time that Pablo Escabar showed up with a producer to do a commercial for Banco Bogata. I was working at one of the two very first computer animation production houses in NYC. This was before he was a household name of infamy. He still stood out sitting in the back of the room smoking very expensive cigars and drinking crazy expensive scotch.
He was rather sociable. Even invited some of the crew to visit his banana plantation. Nobody took him up on that offer.
A few years later he was often in the news.
