I know the girl and was with her the night before she left. She had not been drinking from what I've heard. The autopsy report showed no signs of intoxication and she didn't do drugs.

Anyone know what apartment complex this happened at? Crazy that both of then drowned. I'm guessing one tried to save the other and they both ended up going under.
It happened at Campbridge West Apts.

Is it possible they were pushed off balcony?

No. Despite the picture in the article, there is a good bit of space between the pool and that balcony, also the part of the pool under the balcony is very shallow, they may have broken a few bones trying that but probably not die.
I know the girl personally, she is(was) a close friend's roommate. She is a very level-headed person, as the day passes more and more I believe there was foul-play involved, but maybe I'm just trying to make sense of it.

Assuming that they drowned and were'nt killed or injured then thrown in the pool, what kind of foul play could have occurred? How would someone drown two healthy and sober adults?

Well, I know for sure the male didn't know how to swim. I believe, but am not sure that Ishita knew how to swim. I just keep imagining a worst-case scenario where the guy got her into the pool area, which is enclosed by a fence/locked gate, and tried to make an advance. Perhaps she rejected him, a struggle ensued and they both end up in the water. He, not knowing how to swim, drags her down and they both drown.
She was not a drinker and I had seen her grading papers Saturday night at her apartment before she left. She had a boyfriend who lived in India, he was going to come visit soon, she skyped with him every night, so her being found with this guy raises a red flag for me. Something just doesn't seem right about the whole situation.

Terrible situation. My thoughts and prayers are with these two young people and their families. Losing a child is terrible. I lost a son a year and a half ago.
