It's pretty fricking easy to not drive drunk. If you don't have a ride home, don't drink. People who drive drunk are scum

Maybe so, but there is still no excuse for it. A 6', 200 lb 24 y/o male can drink 5 beers over 2 hours and still likely have a BAC of .07. If you're drinking more frequently or in larger volumes than that, you simply shouldn't drive.
