Yeah, you can't convince them. 45 degrees in Alabama is more uncomfortable than 35 in Idaho however.

True. Why is that the case?

Never been to Idaho but last time I was up north during the winter I went outside in short sleeves and was perfectly comfortable.

Not real sure, might have to do with humidity. My wife is from Arkansas and she hated anything below 60 degrees, but doesn't get cold here. Best bud is from Alabama and he swears its colder in Alabama (relatively) than it is here.

Idaho is very dry and sunny. While the air temp may be in the 20's, unless the wind is blowing it will be relatively comfortable.

The most miserable day I have experienced in the outdoors was 45 degrees, rain and wind in North Louisiana.

I guess if you prefer flat land, endless 18 wheelers and dime a dozen interstate rest stops every mile it would be.
I don't. It's still boring. There are some good stretches, but some endlessly boring ones as well.

If you stay in Northern Idaho and Western Montana, you'll avoid the endlessly boring. Eastern Montana gets a bit lonely.

You literally have no idea what in the hell you are talking about. You might as well try to convince us that big firm boobies look gross on hot girls. You have obviously never been to Northern Idaho or Western Montana.

If you can, check out the Beartooth Highway. It's gorgeous. Red Lodge, MT is a pretty cool town. We always stayed in Big Sky, MT on the Gallatin River. Tons of cool shite to do.
