You left out nuclear war and the Tylenol scare. That was the decade of media scares for sure. After the movie “The Day After” came out I didn’t sleep for a month!
And of course, the AIDS scare was totally exaggerated. Turns out, none of the crap the media terrorized us with ever came true. Shocker.
Magic should have gone the Arthur Ashe route and said it was from a blood transfusion.
