Went to the funeral of the husband of a former coworker at animal shelter. I feel melancholy and grateful and glad I went.

Thanks. I’ve been up since 4 AM and I was working after we hit the dog park. I’m pretty tired. Made stops at three high schools this afternoon. Went all the way to Opelousas. I don’t get any expenses. It’s all out of my pocket.

When I joined the sewing club a long time ago - I was young enough to be a few of the ladies’ granddaughter - I never sewed - I read stuff they couldn’t see, picked up needles and pins they dropped, and got on ladders to get things down. Maybe they thought I couldn’t sew
