Hellur! I was somewhat detained on a work call... how do you feel about hair/volume?

Curly hair means I don’t usually have an issue with volume, but I do like to take a wand to it when I straighten for that reason.

You?

I have board-straight hair and gravitate towards any product that promises more volume/texture and I couldn't live without backcombing So, basically the opposite.

I was going to tell you that I got an amazing new product (Aveda Hair Potion) that is like a cross between dry shampoo and sea salt spray... It's like a sticky powder so it really adds a lot of texture and it doesn't stand out on my near-black hair.

ETA: I wonder if it would work on curly hair to add more definition and help combat frizz!

I don’t believe you but anyway do you think makeup helps?

Sea salt may be good for the natural texture.

And I LOVE dry shampoo. Plus, aveda stuff smells great.

We are opposites as far as hair goes.

Of course it does. That’s the whole point of makeup.

Secret time. I love makeup. I buy too much. I rarely wear more than mascara and powder because I’m lazy

We just wanted some hints on how to achieve the look for those that weren't naturally blessed

Aspy, I am a total product hoarder too! My daily routine varies from 'full daytime face' to 'mascara if you're lucky'

I'm all bearded up now, so I'm hiding my true beauty from the world.

None of you deserve it

true beauty is inner beauty (ihopeihopeihope)

Aspy, my face/outfit effort is decided by how my day falls within the matrix of "Do I have any video conferences or real meetings scheduled?" and "Will I likely see anyone I know when I casually pop in to Target for 1.5 hours on the way home?"
