Agreed. I dive for the sensation of complete freedom and silence. Nothing freeing about getting lost in some cave system under water. Nope. Not for me.
Same with wreck dives. Too easy to get stuck, lost or rip important equipment.

I’ve jumped out of a lot of planes and repelled out of helos in the middle of some crazy shite but that place is up there with the best of them.

I had to swim a wreck dive to get the advanced open water cert- and that's all I thought abt.
it was a one and done for me.
