ohhhhh. I was curious how picky they were about their hay. I don’t know much about horses other than what you’ve shared here. And that they like carrots, and apples and sugar cubes

I HATE stacking hay, but I've done my fair share of it

That was my summer job for a couple years in high school. I was the happiest kid in America when I got promoted to tractor driver.

I used to help my grandfather square bale hay during the summers back in high school.

Toughest work I’ve ever done.

But I always showed up for football practice in pretty good shape.

I had a big draft horse once that would try to stick her nose in your pocket if you had peppermints or fireballs in it.

Georgia said, cow hay is cheaper than horse hay

Having worked on the cattle ranch out west for two summers, I understand that as well. But at this point we're starting to bring in other factors that Joe pepitone never established.

But it can all die, cuz all this turns to horseshite anyway, or cowshit.

I sell my extra round bales for 80 bucks. Mostly other cattle farmers buy them.

It’s been between $6-$10 a bale down here a lot the last few years.

I’ve definitely paid $8 before.

Yep.

Having horses is like setting money on fire.

What do you want her to do? Load the horses up and drive em around until she finds a place with dead grass, let them out and just home the land owner doesn't care and let them eat until they are full?
