My uncle has a suppressed .308 rifle... it's awesome being able to shoot a .308 w/o earmuffs.

The pistol that I was holding was a "good deal" IMO but I have too many other things that $1000 could buy that would be of much better use. Oh well, it was a good thought.

I shot the M40 sniper rifle, I think that's a .308, with a suppressor. It sounded like a loud clap.
The M4 sounds like a muffled clap.
