Yeah I had to give them my heart valve ID card I have to keep on me all the time. There’s instructions on the back they have to follow or something. Still was a bit concerning that my life depended on some dude setting a dial right. Needless to say, that was a long 20 minutes.

that risk pales in comparison to riding a motorcycle on today's roads with all the cell phone impaired drivers.

I know about this all too well. But at least in my bike I’ve got a sense of control. Laying in that MRI machine while it was banging away for 20 minutes all I could do was wait for it to be over.

What did you have scanned?
Brain scan to see if I’d had a stroke. I had collapsed earlier in the day at work and had to be rushed to the hospital. They also did EKG and echo to see if it could have been a heart attack. Turns out I had got dehydrated from my Lasix dosage being too high.
