Darth some folks dont get it! my pop had got t-boned in BR near Franks..... on airline/florida/ had a brain bleed, they tried to drill the hole, that didnt work so they cut out a square to reduce the blood swelling... Medical induced Coma, not sure he would ever make it out at 73....but he is a tough ole bastard and did!... they pronounced him Dead on the scene but, after hospital n 3 mth stay he made it...NO DEATH certificate!

at the new 08 thread. ETA-Beef - This site is so much better when people are laughing. I used to have trouble keeping a straight face at my desk reading some of the threads. There are some really funny people here.

I honestly don't remember a thing. Last I remember that night was about 6PM. I lost consciousness sometime after that. I flat-lined about 9 PM. My wife watched it happen. They did emergency open-heart surgery and I woke up from that around 1;30 AM with a ventilator tube down my throat wondering what the hell had happened.

Here is what multiple doctors and surgeons told me happened that night. And I quote...
"You died"
By "died" I mean I stopped breathing, my heart stopped beating, all bodily functions ceased. Nothing, nada. I wasn't "close" to death. and as of around 9 PM that night I'd passed the "dying" phase, and did in fact medically die as per multiple doctors. Now unless you can provide me with more credentials besides the ability to Goggle a Wikipedia article, I'm still taking their word over yours and there is not a damn thing you can do to change that.
