I normally always, always lock up my Jeep. And keep garage door opener locked in my console.
The ONE time I forget.....someone gets in my Jeep while I’m asleep and steals my garage door opener. Opens our garage and goes into my husband’s Jeep and takes a bag of miscellaneous stuff. Nothing else in our garage missing. Woke up to feed the dogs Wednesday am and notice the garage door opened.
It is loud when it opens and our dogs usually bark each time it opens. They didn’t that night. Just creeps me out that someone was in our garage. Thank goodness we always keep the door for the house to our garage locked at night.

Security camera systems are very affordable these days...or even get you the Ring Doorbell.....we have one on the front door and one on the side door...anytime there's motion it alerts all of our phones..

That's bad. Probably people walking down the street trying car doors. Put a rattler in your center console and leave your car door unlocked.

Yeah we have talked about that.
Especially with a lot of the really sketchy guests I’ve seen at the air bnb house next door.
Talked with my neighbors last night and found out we have almost 5 air bnb houses on our street and the street next to us. On one street 3 houses in a row air bnb. Because we are so close to old town Scottsdale investors are buying the houses up and turning them all into air bnb only houses.
Especially with a lot of the really sketchy guests I’ve seen at the air bnb house next door.
Talked with my neighbors last night and found out we have almost 5 air bnb houses on our street and the street next to us. On one street 3 houses in a row air bnb. Because we are so close to old town Scottsdale investors are buying the houses up and turning them all into air bnb only houses.

My ring is super sensitive. I get an alert when a car passes.

Yeah whoever did it wanted something they could easily carry.
The bag they took out of my husband’s Jeep was his old patrol bag when he was former PD. He had some tools in there, flashlights, jacket, etc. in it. About $500 worth of stuff. I bet the person who did it thought a gun was in there and that’s why they swiped it. Cause there was a heavier tool bag in his Jeep that they didn’t touch.

same here...if I get an alert I just pull up my security camera feed....the Ring is too slow, but it records and you can go back....plus you can also talk to them through the mic
My only problem I have now is I cant lie about what time I get home or sneak into the house in the early mornings.....

either you live in a trailer park or really close to the street....
you can set a range all the way down to 5'
