I panicked like a mf on the inside while assuring him it's ok. Turns out it was "just a phase". The only logical conclusion I can come to is that his hormones were ramping up and he was dtf just about anything.
He has a gf now. I've snooped through his phone enough to know he definitely likes females. Whether he also likes dudes is another question that I honestly don't want to know.

I assumed I would have had a "Damn, my son is gay. There's no way a son of mine could be gay" type of mentality. But my main concern was exactly what you said. How difficult of a life it was going to be for him.
