You can demo four racquets for seven days at Tennis Warehouse. It's $20 and that includes shipping. Tennis warehouse also has tons of reviews on most of their racquets.

I play with a 4 stripe POG from the 80's that I found new in eBay. They come up every once and a while. Like this example with a super small grip.

Don't have a USTA ranking but I'd put myself as about a 3.5 player. My bro is a 4.5 and he whoops my arse.
