Looking for contacts at shelters in Denham

My wife's grandparents were evacuated from RIVER RUN neighborhood on Florida Blvd in Denham. I am driving to shelters to try and locate but no form of communication has been set up between shelters yet. Does anyone have a contact at 1st Methodist or any other shelters in Denham that can check the current roster.
Updated: found safe in Baton Rouge, evacuated with a neighbor and cells died. It's only going to get worse, lot of neighborhoods around Oneal are flooding as we speak.
Be safe!

wasn't there some kind of system set up for this kind of thing right after Katrina?...if so, it seems like a good time to activate that.
ETA: here is a list of current shelters ...if you can find telephone numbers, it is likely to be tough to get anyone to answer, though. Shelter List

There is a system to communicate between shelters but this event hit so fast that it has not been activated yet. Luckily they had a neighbor who looked out for them and got them out. I just picked them safe and sound. Cell phones died and were of no use, just a reminder to have a back up plan and do not count on it in an emergency!

very good to hear, man...
and a good PSA for the rest of us when an emergency is approaching...fill up your vehicles with gas and charge up all phones and don't waste the charge by bullshtting to pass the time.
