We just "rescued" a dog recently. 1st dog I've ever owned. He is chill as he can be until a storm comes and then he goes crazy. Vet said give him a benedryl which does absolutely nothing. Last time big storms were coming, I gave him one of my cookies I take for glaucoma and he was chill as he could be. Just sat there watching video games.

Ignore it or don't.

I'm not totally against a meltdown in Russellville. It'll save me the cost of a flight to Kiev again and actually make Arky worth something.

Shack isn't nuts. Just wants to be near me if the storm is bad.

My border collie was awful. He'd break things trying to find somewhere to hide. Slept in the tub in bad storms. Even jumped in while I was taking a bath once

At 11 the Allman tribute band starts their show. They even have 2 drummers as well. They are pretty decent.

I can honestly say the worst days I've ever had have been in Arkansas

meh. I kinda wish I still had my place at Heber. Lake is only a million times nicer than Pickwick. But I gave into pressure and got a place there since that is where most of our friends were.

i just got into a hunting lease in DeWitt (home of posting legend Cody Allen) and love it too.

West Memphis on the other hand.........................

that's why there are very few tornados in Memphis but plenty up north in Dyersburg and south of us in North Mississippi.

We used to get warnings all the time in Collierville at night when they couldn't spot them. They are very cautious when visibility is low. But you are right....Millington, Dyersburg, Tunica, and Byhalia seem to get hit all the time. Memphis got a lot of powerful storm fronts but never a tornado when I was there.

I think Germantown and Collierville got fatal F4 back in 1994 near Houston High School. Memphis got a fatal EF3 in the Super Tuesday outbreak in 2008 near the Hickory Ridge/Raines area. I think Cordova got one that day too.

Another reason to legalize weed. It is good for dogs anxiety. That might be the turning point. Everyone loves dogs.
