Damn. We left for PCB the night of graduation. Spent a week down there and came home just in time for me to report to the MEPS in Montgomery. They put me and a bunch of other recruits up in a shite roach motel called The Capital Inn. I think he whole motel was full of recruits for every branch of the military. The next morning they loaded us on busses and took us over to the induction center at Maxwell where I went through medical and took my oath of enlistment. By that afternoon I was on a bus headed up I65 to Ft. Knox, KY. After that my arse belonged to Uncle Sam.
