I'll stick with my Islays.

Is gold an actual thing? I know blue is their high end retail stuff.

Reb, I'm more of a vodka or good bourbon drinker but a buddy of mine sends me a case of Johnny blue and Gold label reserve for Christmas every year and I'm not gonna not drink it.

I've had too much to drink tonight as it is. Tomorrow should be fun.

Mine just visit and drink all the good stuff.

So what's the Gold label? I've only heard of Blue, Red, and Black.

Gold label reserve is good with a taste of honey to me. I think it's 80 bucks a bottle. It's pretty good

The buddy I'm talking about is an older dude is an engineer I used to work for when I first got in the business and before I went into military contracting. Fast forward a bunch of years and I drug his kid out of a bad situation in Yusufiyah.

He now sends me his favorite scotches every Christmas.

So, what's your good bourbon? I finally completed the Pappy trio and I can honestly say, I'll stick to my Blanton's and Col. Taylor.

Can you introduce me to your buddy? Maybe him and I can become buddies.

Blantons is in my wheelhouse too.

I went on a duck hunt for a week down at our camp in Venice a couple weeks ago and the 4 bottles I brought ran out quick with 4 PMCs and 3 plant operators. One of the operators brought a handle of Old Crow in the plastic handle.

Mine are like wine...they've improved with age. I will probably be able to drink an entire Frat House under the table when I'm 60.

You don't need the hassle of your woman bitching about you drinking the month of January away every year, byte.
