I have some North Mississippi Hill Country relatives that simply fascinate me. At my grand-mothers funeral, one of my 2nd or 3rd cousins I hadn't seen in 10 years asked to borrow 20 bucks. I was a pall bearer and carrying the casket at the time.

all my people are more in the northwest part of the state. not far from Tunica if your familiar with that place.
but i did live in Columbus MS for awhile. used to drive down the middle of downtown Aberdeen all the time.
