Tomorrow my last day of the week
Anyone else going on holiday? Working? Ready to get drunk on the holiday weekend? Best holiday wishes for all.

Caramel corn and wine. Looks like I need more wine.

office has been flat empty all week so far. I am supposed to be on PTO, but have been in for a few hours every day. I need to pack it up and get out of town, so I can disengage from that stuff for a while.

Quiet in a lot of places. Biggest pto weeeks. Not a bad week to work in most settings. Nobody bothers, asks questions etc. save that pto for spring and summer when everyone is there

Thread is not great, I like to think getting better. Me:

that is actually why I have been going in....nice and peaceful at work right now. I can come and go as I please and the phone and email is absolutely silent.

Football. Drinking. Food.

Hoping it rains all weekend so that I don't have to take leaves or any bullshite. Was looking forward to cold weather but high this weekend in my area mid 70s. Chances for rain

Christmas Eve we do seafood plates.

Crab cakes, shrimp, fish, oysters. One of my favorite meals of the year. And enough work that I normally only do once a year
