Because I would eventually drown in them.
My dad used to send me boxes of books when he was done with them. The husband had to call and tell him to stop
Then he bought me the kindle.

I've been meaning to read that.
What are your favorites?
I like to laugh. So my favorite was a book by Dave Berry called Big Trouble. They made a great, underrated movie based on it.

You should. Gaiman is my absolute favorite.
A favorite book? Totally depends on my mood. I really love a graveyard book. I should read that again too.

I've never known which books to get. When I was younger and would hit a used book store. If usually picked out books that were made into movies I liked. Almost always, the book was better.
The only exception was The Shawshank Redemption. Obviously a short story. But it really wasn't special. Though the movie is one of my all-time favorites.

Speaking of the movie to book thing, I recently read Rosemary's baby.
That movie has got to be one of the most faithful adaptations ever. So much of the dialogue was even the same.
Read american gods. For real.

It is actually a trilogy, and his circles of hell with Beatrix being his guide that can take him only so far, pretty close to modern day Christanty. ..however Dante invented the modern day Italian and got kicked from the country. I ain't fronting fool

i always have a hard time explaining to my pre-TD.com friends how i know people from td.com.
my highschool had one of those "all class" reunions. Picc and I promised each other not to bring up this place. it was driving one dude crazy how i knew her since i had been gone for so long.
