What was the name of that radio show you used to listen to?

I'm fricked when I go back to days. I might as well get sleeping pills ready. Because melatonin or indica won't help at all to reverse my body clock.

What mg do you use for melatonin?

5 mg. But sometimes I'll even take 2 of them, even though I don't use them often. But with this schedule, it can be rough if you're already a bad sleeper.

I have to get up at 4:45 now and I've never been able to go to sleep before midnight. I'm just perpetually cranky these days.

I usually get the 10mg but I prefer the other sleeping pills.

Im a night shift person so sometimes it can be hard to sleep during the day.

Does anyone call it the graveyard shift? Growing up in Texas it was called that and as a kid it sounded scary.

Sometimes. It's a pretty accurate description. Work it long enough, you'll start to feel a little dead inside. Though it would probably be better if I weren't on a traveling project.

Luckily, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And with my next job, I'll be the supervisor, so I'll rarely have to do nights myself.

You probably won't know what to do with yourself once you're on days and can have a more normal life. Are you moving soon or do you finish this project?

Yes.

I always thought people worked at a graveyard at night. When I was a kid.

I got a promotion, and am going to move to Mobile once my current project is done. Probably mid December.

I'll know exactly what to do. I'll finally be around a bunch of family and old friends for the first time in years. I've never lived there, but it won't be like most moves, where I'm starting from scratch socially. Hell, I've probably walked in Mobile Mardi Gras parades at least a dozen times. It's kinda like a second home.

Plus, I'm 2 hours from Nola and an hour from the beach, and I have friends in both places. So I'll be able to stay playing music again regularly. And with what I've done lately, 40-50 hour weeks will feel like a breeze.
