Fair enough. She did a number. But it freed me from a miserable prison.
I’d rather have dealt with that momentary heartache than a lifetime of misery that slowly poisoned every aspect of my being.

Yep don't look back I never did after my divorce. You can learn a few things from going through it but move forward. SHE Did and so did I. Take care of your kids and everything will be ok. Trust me.

I’m pretty fine. Hiccups now and then but better, overall, than I was 5 years ago. I know my own value now and i’m not settling for being trapped in something simply because it’s my current bearing.
I’m not dying alone in a nursing home because i’ll Go out on my own terms before I wind up forgotten and neglected. I’ll burn through every safe port I come to and then go down in flames before I end up a decrepit husk clinging to a farce.
Living isn’t living unless you are Making something of it. I’ve watched too many close to me wither away to know that that Isn’t the way I want to go.

I can relate to what 33 is going through. For almost 4 years after my divorce I wanted nothing to do with relationships. I screwed around with alot of women until I met my gf. The word love was only used for my kids and my mom. Marriage is hard to fathom again because of the damage done in the past but I am getting better about letting people back in now. Life ain't easy but time and communication heals many things.
