I had a better idea.
I want to combine the Homicide Hunters & Killing Fields programs to where Joe Kenda & Rodie Sanchez, both retired detectives, go around the country working cold cases together.
Joe does all the actual police work and spends half the show thinking of ways to kill Rodie.
Rodie splits time between drinking, eating fried stuff and getting frustrated that none of the suspects can answer any questions because they can't understand what the hell he is saying.
He and Joe both do their interviews sitting in lawn chairs in their wife beaters under a chicken tree drinking whiskey on the rocks.
