I believe it's on the north or nw side. It's the tallest one in tahoe. We did it on our honeymoon. Awesome hike.we stayed up in squaw valley

We made it up and back in 8 hours and we stopped a few times. Beautiful. The are several small lakes on the trail that are pretty cool t stop and hang out and swim in.

Maybe another visit. The couple we are here with are getting married here next year so we will be back then.

Don't blame you. An all day hike is a beating the next day. ..I only did it for the wife and ended up enjoying. Kayaking was fun. The paddle boat dinner cruise was cool too around emerald island. Cheesy but cool.

We have a hot tub at the cabin we are renting. The jets don't work(hopefully property manager will fix tomorrow) but it still heats up.

It is ice cold in the middle of summer. My wife jumped in and swam. I was shivering when water splashed up in me. Felt Like the Arctic in that water.
