Br does have some hot mid 20s women tho. Hard to get in these social circle scenes. I don't fit in at ivars

Most mid 20s people don't hang out at Ivar’s Boo. That's usually a 30+ crowd. They used to hang out at the Station, Triple A etc when I was younger but I have no clue now.

You aren't going to the right places for sure.

Ivars definitely skews younger now tbh

BR is a wasteland right now for bars for early 20s folks. Other than tigerland I guess.

Maybe that's a recent development. I admittedly don't go out much anymore.

Most of the bars in BR were mid 20s places other than the LSU bars and a few with older crowds years ago. I'm probably out of touch.

Ivars is what the Station or some of the downtown bars were now. I’m early 30s and feel old as shite drinking in there

BR has several great places for people my age and older but seems to struggle to keep a decent rotation of places for the younger crowd.

Makes sense tbh because the city has been struggling for various reasons now for years.

I’m going down with the ship I guess

The hipster scene has actually declined there over the years imo

Also there are a lot more “hipster” types around these days

Cracks me up how people still honestly respond to him. The 5’9 Caribbean guy with zero social life or friends is oddly familiar and often right on the types of crowds at most bars around town

I was 26 when I met my wife and we went out every weekend with crowds of people our age that were single. I guess the landscape has completely changed.

Ivars was always a 30s-50s crowd when I went there regularly.

Station has good comedy shows, but it's a random assortment of people

Don’t get me wrong I still see some of BRs 60+ “celebrities” getting absolutely hammered there every time I visit

I had no clue that place was still open Boo. It was jumping in 2000-2005. Mostly loud music and packed with 20 somethings. Probably over the fire marshall's limit.

The stripper pole on the dance floor was always a nice touch. Always a place I forget about but spent many nights in.
