This reminds of the things people did to occupy themselves before the days of internet. I'm sure many of you remember lighting a match, letting it burn a bit past halfway then licking your fingers and grabbing it by the other end so you could burn the match all the way through.

Had to entertain yourself somehow back then

The smell of the burnt match is actually complimenting the smell of your flatulence. This is because both mainly smell like sulfur, but the match adds to the smell rather than tries to mask it. The burning wood and other chemicals add more depth to the odor to where it becomes pleasant for anyone to smell. Instead of one odor overpowering the other, they become a bouquet of aromas.

Did you know a match can burn twice? I found out as a kid it sure as shite can. Ouch!
