I buried my younger brother 2 weeks ago. He was 59 years old. He and I were super close down through the years but about 3 years ago we had words and let things get out of hand. Last summer I went home and we made peace with one another. Back to normal, would talk 2-3 times a week. Run home for a day, eat supper, spend the night head out next morning. Really hard now knowing whenever the phone rings, I have no chance of it being his voice on the other end.
If you got a family member you were close to and had a falling out. Make amends, it is worth it! Sooner or later, we all run out of time.!

Great post and reminder. Sorry you lost your brother man, that is beyond tough. Glad you were able to make peace with him and have some more time/memories.

I’m glad y’all made amends or you would feel even worse. Prayers, my man.

I know your pain. But you were able to have 59 years of memories together. Keep him alive by remembering

My brother died 3 years ago. We weren't that close, he was 7 years older than me and married and gone from home, and we didn't have much in common, but I still miss seeing him regularly.
Hug your families. You only get one shot at it.
