If you bought the used vehicle from dealership that also sells new vehicles, contact them and don't be an arse (like being accusatory and claiming the dealer should have known) when you talk with the sales manager.
There is very good chance the dealership will take care of the repairs because most dealers have an account set-up for things like this that come up from time to time.

I hate getting calls like this. I usually refer them to the Lemon Law Lawyer. Google it.

This is not true in Louisiana. Check the link at the AG's website I posted earlier. Just went through this. If there is a problem with the used car that they and you were unaware of--what person who isn't a mechanic could know--renders it unusable for the purchase purpose, they must repair or refund your money. I just went through this. Bought my son a $5k car for school. Day 1 it starts leaking transmission fluid. Bought as is. Took to mechanic and was prepared to pay for anything reasonable. He tells me look up redhibition law. Get your money back. Needs new transmission and other problems. Took back and dealer paid to repair the problems.
