There is also a Lear pilot in the comments of the Captain Steve video that seems to think, based on his experience, something happened with the yaw damper. I was trying to copy and paste the comment, but YouTube won't let me.

Here is the Learjet pilot’s comments from YouTube about the Philadelphia incident:

Speaking as a Lear 35 pilot - this is a phenomenal early analysis. I completely agree with your points about the ground speed being too high to indicate a stall, recognition light being mistaken for fire, and the emphasis on the yaw damper as a potential culprit. I'd be surprised if there was anyone in the Lear community that didn't immediately think, 'I wonder if it was the yaw damper?' There's a ton of confusing information being spread around, but you can trust Juan 100% on this.

Private jets crash kind of all the time. This is a big story because of the DCA crash.. and it being in Philadelphia.

I get what you're saying, it being media sensationalized and all, but it's been a rough go since Christmas Day, e.g., PSA, Med Jets, Jeju and Azerbaijan. Private Jets are far more numerous than they were just a decade ago, so the rate of incidents have increased but not by much.
