I think it is because there isn't a big supply of Asian eggs out there. I bet culturally...it isn't something many Asian women would want to do(be an egg donor).

Not eggs though. Just did a quick google and Asian women do not donate their eggs as much as other women.
And Asian women that do donate their eggs....usually will get paid more for their eggs than other women cause of the shortage of Asian donors.

It would seem like with all of the pretty, blonde college students close to you that at least a few would be smart. Is it a localized search, or nationwide?

It's nationwide. But the egg bank is located in PHX. Donors travel to AZ to donate.
And it could be many try to donate...but don't meet all the screening criteria.
ETA: And it's tough to decide what kind of criteria to go by. Strictly similar to my looks? Look at family history? Look for ones with kids already cause you know they already have good baby making eggs?

You could go to the engineering school at U of A in Tempe and hand out flyers. Make your list of requirements huge. That way, if you get answered, you will know she has everything you want, and some gumption.

That's fresh egg donors...and that is like twice the cost of frozen egg donors and a much more timely process.
I'm looking at a list of donors that already have donated eggs and they are currently frozen.
