Not sure, but maybe... Nobody wants to go downtown for nice products. It’s always maintained higher end stores. It’s in Metairie. There’s no convenient alternative. There’s a significant amount of money in the area.

The outdoor malls are a hit elsewhere but the weather isn’t always the best here so it has that going for it.

Just my guesses.

I ended up there on a Tuesday in October and couldn’t believe the amount of people there on a weekday. Way more than what I see at our local mall on a weekend. I had so many questions as to why/how.
