Gas tax?

For it. If the tax is guaranteed to go to roads.

$1.8 billion for a 40-mile long road? Seems kind of expensive for such a short span.

GA? What could possibly go wrong. GA is almost as incompetent as LA.

Yet another difference in LA and other states- we take dedicated taxes and spend on them things they were not designed for

One Drive through GA and I think you will see they manage money way better than we do.

While you are researching check out what they do for kids in their state going to college

You think LA can build a truck only highway when we can’t do any better than the merge off a bridge to a single lane on I-friggin 10?

I live in GA just north of Atlanta. I have lived in both states for extended periods of time.

Move on back to LA if you think the water is fine here. We could use another taxpayer

I am sure JBE has some kind of welcome home tax program that comes out of our pockets

Yeah... no. Georgia is 22nd in fiscal responsibility. Louisiana is 44th.

Let this happen..,,the truck traffic on 75 between Atl and Macon is crazy. At that weigh station on northbound side trucks are often backed up a great distance on 75.

Pretty sure a bigger-and-better variant of this was proposed for Texas 17 years ago.
