I understand this is comforting to believe but there is no data at all anywhere to support it. The VAST majority of pedophiles are men and the majority of those men who are pedophiles are heterosexual. Roughly the % of men who self-identify as homosexual in the general population is identical to the number of men who self-identify as homosexual who have been convicted of pedophilia. The number of men who self-identify as heterosexual who have been convicted of pedophilia have victimized roughly the same number of boys as girls. A pedophile is attracted to children, their gender statistically does not mean much. A sex act between a man and a child is pedophilia regardless of the gender of the child because they are a child. A man coercing or forcing a male child to perform oral sex on the man is no more homosexual in nature than a grown man and a grown woman doing the same thing. A pedophile is attracted to children, not a child based on the child's gender.
