I’ve noticed this somewhat recently. The girls do it too, and that’s what really grinds my gears.

ETA: but it’s still not as annoying as: sus, bet, dead arse, no cap, rizz, lowkey

I’m late to this thread and I doubt it’s on topic still- but I am in my early 50’s and I love the lingo of all the young kids.

It’s fun to observe how their generation uses different phrases for the same terms/ideas etc that we had years ago.

I don’t necessarily use their vernacular- but I understand it.
