Exactly. Read between the lines when he says make the world a better place he means inspiring people like him(whether that means ultra-creatives, people from of south side Chicago, or whatever) to follow their dreams, speak their mind etc. He's also talking about people that are master of one craft(Kanye music) exploring other interest(fashion) and not being put in a box.
