One of the few things I agree with Cali on.

Bail is too often used to keep people in jail without trial. And oftentimes it doesn't take a large bail to do this either. Lots of people living check to check and plunking them in jail with bail they can't make costs them their job.

And now they can't afford a lawyer either.

Exactly what our "justice system" wants.
