Wrong. Fedgov is DEI hires on steroids.

Go read reddit fednews. Almost every sob story is someone taking a 20-30% paycut to work for state government or private sector. That ain't because they're extremely qualified.

The talking point has always been that fedgov employees get a lower salary in exchange for job security, benefits and retirement. Well, this is being shown to be be bullshite in real time. Not only were they getting retirement, good benefits and job security but also a n inflated salary courtesy of the American taxpayer.
