Ehhh. Heyman made Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns interesting. I’d contend that Heenan’s best work was on the commentary team.

..just have to add, with a little work..Owen Hart would've been a great heel commentator.

Fair enough...I think it depends on the era you grew up in. Mr. Fuji is underrated IMO as well

We listened to the latest Drive In on our way to Chicago this morning. His story about the clusterfrick that was his & The Express's move from Dallas to Crockett was half humorous and half "all over the place".

Heenan, Hart, Heyman, and Cornette are the Mount Rushmore of wrestling managers.

Just for shits and giggles here…
I could see MVP turn into one of the greats. Eddie Kingston will.

Don Callis might have some sea legs to.

I’d love to see Pretty Peter Avalon as a heel manager.

I also think Col. Parker deserves a nod here. JJ Dillion as well. Paul Ellering, Bill Alfonso, Mr. Fuji.

Austin Idol is pretty fun to watch nowadays in the NWA

I respectfully disagree. Heenan was so effective as a heel manager that when the WWF needed to turn the universally beloved Andre the Giant into a bad guy before Wrestle Mania III, all they had to do was have him walk into the arena with Heenan at his side. Deal sealed. That’s amazing.

General Skandar Akbar and Playboy Gary Hart are criminally overlooked. Their work in Louisiana and Texas was top-notch.
