Parents have a 2013 model Grand Cherokee. It's a great vehicle and is far less problematic than their old Genesis.

I don't think the Jeep has given them any trouble actually. They got a fairly loaded model for around $38,000.

Any car where my mom can figure out the sat/nav is a well thought out car.

I want to toss that nav in the river... Literally the only complaint I have about the car

My husband hates the Uconnect in my Jeep as well. I don't mind it that much.

Uconnect is fine for the phone but the stream music sucks... I just load up the HD with music or listen to XM

Yeah I was having some issues at times with the Bluetooth with my phone to listen to Pandora or music on my phone. Sometimes it would freeze it up.

So I just inserted my phone cable into the usb port inside the center console and play my music that way. Charges my phone at the same time and no more freezing up.

I do like the Nav in the instrument cluster. That's clutch.

Stop it, not they haven't.

Saw a Trailhawk in person not too long ago, I don't think they look bad. Supposed to be surprisingly capable off-road as well.

My phone uses battery faster than thing can charge.

I've had no issues streaming Bluetooth.

The old Uconnect units are cumbersome and slow...same one I have in my truck. It gets the job done, but streaming is bad:

This is the one you want (2013+ for the Jeeps, IIRC):

I have a 2014 Jeep Unlimited and mine has the first one pictured.

Second one must be for the Grand Cherokees

Possibly. They've been slowly integrating them into the line-ups. Started with the Chargers back in 2011, then the 300s, etc etc...Ram and Jeep were/are the last to get them.

The Nav & UConnect on my 13 work really well. By far the best I have used, including Mercedes & Lexus.

I paid 38.5k for my fully loaded overland 4x4 with 26 miles it

That's a damn good price. I got my '13 overland (2wd) new for $40k right before they came out with the 2014 body style. I think people were able to get good prices on the old body style when there were still several on the lot.

I'm up to 25k miles w no problems. Love mine except for when the uconnect freezes up

Diesal is out and gets like 30 mpg if I recall.

I don't know anyone who has it though.

Glad to see all the favorable reviews, I've got a 2015 Overland on order and it should be here Oct. 10th. The wait is killing me since I ordered as soon as the order banks opened for the 2015 model year. There are no real changes from 2014 (except a few things on the Summit model), but I didn't want to take the depreciation hit and take a hit for buying a 2014 late in the year.
