No, you don’t get it. The 19 year olds really enjoy hanging out with him regardless of the money because they value the quality of conversation and mentorship he provides.

Ok this raises more questions than it answers. Good for you that you care about your community, but you have to step back and understand your overall goals.
If you are concerned about the immediate optics of being out on so many dates, go to another suburb or downtown.
But this is also the dating process. If you are trying to be thoughful about your community, the dating process is the specific means to weed out potential mates that might not be a good fit for you or your community. This is exactly what you should be doing. Set up some coffees, have a discussion about values and life, and if there's congruence, move it forward. If not, say thanks and move along.

It was already established that we had a mutual understanding of the main reason we were together. Now why she called me for advice outside of that is beyond my control.

Yeah. If there was any part I might have exaggerated about in my post it could have been the extra .5, good call. I did go back and forth between an 8 and 8.5. Most days I'm probably around a 7.8 or 7.9 and an 8.5 on my best days.
