You do realize it doesn't have to be "all or none" right? You can support police, but recognize there are a lot of shite bag police.

The small town police officer making $24k a year with minimum training and sits around stopping people who goes 3 miles over the speed limit and is a complete jackass doesn't represent police in big cities or state law enforcement, etc who have a lot more training, etc.

And while there are many shite bag police there are a lot of really good police who wants to do their job and has more interest in helping people than hurting them, etc.
