We had the rail gun idea, but it seems like that was scrapped a few years ago. Built a specialized war ship for it and everything.

Context???… Israel vs Iran straight up or Israel vs Iran +the Muslim world… if the latter no Israel probably couldn’t win …if the former wouldn’t take more than 7days to defeat Iran

They don't share a common border and have no real allies that share a border so I wouldn't expect it to be a 1v1. Israel would be forced Persian/Oman Gulf to mount any attack.
Or risk flying over hostile nations the entire way.

I agree with you… was only referring to the scenario of Israel vs Iran in a war… even in the scenario you describe (which is most likely the outcome) Israel could win if collateral damage isn’t considered
